Dave has over twenty-five years of experience in deal structuring and wealth planning. Between 1994 and 2000 he served as the Executive Managing Director of an institutionally sized Family Office. He is involved in the construction or renovation of many buildings now occupied by major Swiss companies, through GMG’s Real Estate division.

Sean held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Sentinel International before joining the Geneva Management Group at the end of 2008. Sean has been actively involved in structured finance since 2005 and held a number of important directorships in structured finance vehicles covering CMBS, RMBS and Synthetic asset backed programs which supported banks in their off balance sheet funding programs.

McFarlin Group is a fully-integrated real estate investment firm that is focused on the senior living industry. Located in Dallas, with a regional office in Phoenix, McFarlin Group leadership has over 50 years’ experience in senior living. We are nimble and entrepreneurial.

Matt Johnson
Managing Director and Investment Committee Member
Matt has two decades of experience in senior living creating value in senior living investments and acquiring and building senior living communities. Matt currently focuses on identifying acquisition opportunities, building internal infrastructure while the company grows and driving value in the portfolio. Prior to forming McFarlin Group in 2008, Matt was a Vice President with a large, Texas-based senior living developer and operator.
Josh Rosen
Managing Director and Investment Committee Member
Mr. Rosen has been in the senior living industry for nearly a decade. Mr. Rosen joined McFarlin Group shortly after its formation in 2008 and has been responsible for the development, financing, and operations of more than $200 million in senior living real estate. Mr. Rosen focuses on structuring the financing for acquisitions and new developments, leading new development and renovation projects, and assisting in overseeing operations at its managed communities.
Heather Logan, CPA
Chief Financial Officer and Investment Committee Member
Heather has over 20 years of experience in financial and operations management of senior living communities. Heather is currently the COO and CFO for McFarlin Group and Surpass Senior Living where she oversees all financial aspects of the business and its managed communities. Heather’s early senior living experience from 2001 to 2007 included the oversight of the accounting and financial reporting functions of senior living properties nationally where she led a team of accountants that provided controller/CFO functions for senior living communities.
